Sarah Lockman Dressage is located at Peacock Hill Equestrian Center, a premier boarding facility in Orange County.

Nestled inside the scenic Irvine Regional Park, Sarah Lockman Dressage clients ride in a lighted 80'x120' dressage court, with premium Nike footing by Footings Unlimited.  The arena has an arena tarp to ensure it is rideable 365 days a year.  The center also has two other large arenas.  Other facility amenities include: both indoor cross ties and outdoor covered cross ties/wash rack; 3 round pens and a square pen; a variety of boarding options; and access to nearly 500 acres of breathtaking trails.  For more information on this beautiful facility, go to PeacockHillEquestrian.com.

Hayley Essig - Assistant Trainer

Haley started riding and competing in hunt seat and jumping at the age of 5. When she was 9, she started riding her mom’s FEI school master, Angelo, and she was hooked.  She has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals, and has shown extensively from Introductory Level to FEI.  She continues to show and participate in clinics with such well-known trainers as Kathleen Raine, Gerhard Politz, Jan Curtis, and David Wightman.  She also enjoys gently starting young horses and competing in young horse classes.  As she says, “Dressage is my passion, and I look forward to the bright future I have with team SLD!”

Octovio Rocha - Head groom

Octavio, who has been a professional equine groom for 25 years, began working with Sarah in 2013. Octavio is exceptional with the horses and clients. With his extensive horse knowledge and compassion for the horses, he is a true asset to the barn. Our clients wholeheartedly trust Octavio, and have no reservations when leaving their horse in his care. He is incredibly reliable, patient, and punctual and has every horse ready on time for their lessons, no matter the circumstances. He is loved by all and keeps the barn running like a well oiled machine.

Giermo Rocha - Horse show groom

Guillermo has been a groom for 25 years, and specializes in grooming at shows. He always has a smile on his face and he is so pleasant to be around - a real asset in the high-pressure competitive world of horse shows. He is patient and kind with the horses, and the clients adore him. He will do everything he can to make the day run smoothly and make sure every horse is spotless and well cared for throughout the show weekend.
